Soccer: UNLV men win tourney title

The UNLV men's soccer team defeated Alabama A&M in the championship match of the New Mexico Invitational Sunday in Albuquerque, shutting out the Panthers 2-0.
With the victory, the Rebels improved to 8-5-1 on the season, their most victories in a year since 1992. The Rebels scored the game winner at the 27:37 mark on a breakaway by sophomore Tuomas Talvio, who scored his career best-tying fifth goal of the season.
