Wylean Pridgett Adams

Wylean Pridgett Adams, 52, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born July 9, 1948, in Mississippi.

She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Jimerson, Sharon Pernell and Angela Pernell, and one son, Aaron Pernell, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Shirley Reese, Leslie Chrishon and Carolyn Pridgett; three brothers, George Pridgett, Roddie Pridgett and Earnest Pridgett; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Goodwill Church of God in Christ, 976 Hassell Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Dylan Atwood

Dylan Atwood, 3, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 14, 1997, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Clayton and Tracy Atwood of Las Vegas; two sisters, April Atwood of St. George, Utah, and Hailey Atwood of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Rae Atwood, and Joseph and Shirley Hans, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Saturday in the LDS Buffalo Ward. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Michael E. Beer

Michael E. Beer, 26, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 24, 1974, in Utah. A resident for six years, he was a welder/designer.

He is survived by his parents, George "Lucky" and Nancy Beer of Caliente.

Shirley Bernstein

Shirley Bernstein, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born March 31, 1924, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for five years, she was a key punch operator for an insurance company.

She is survived by one son, Charles Bernstein of Las Vegas.

Graveside services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Wilbur Brooks

Wilbur Brooks, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 29, 1917, in Indiana. A resident for 16 years, he was a songwriter.

He is survived by his companion, Joan Gautier of Las Vegas; one son, Eric Brooks, and one daughter, Jeanie Moreland, both of Oregon; and one brother, John Brooks of Vermont.

No services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements. Burial will be private.

Edward Lundie Bump

Edward Lundie Bump, 88, of Pahrump died Tuesday in Pahrump. He was born Dec. 28, 1911, in Madison, Wis. A resident for 6 1/2 years, he was a design engineer and World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel; two daughters, Barbara Sowards and Christine Dash, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 7-9 p.m. today in Pahrump Family Mortuary, 2240 E. Calvada Blvd., Pahrump. Private graveside services will be Friday in Bunkers Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Uvalde Caperton

Uvalde Caperton, 86, of Las Vegas died Oct. 5 in Las Vegas. He was born March 17, 1914, in Lockhart, Texas. A resident for 46 years, he was self-employed in the gaming industry and was an Army veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Marvin Caperton and Uvalde Caperton Jr., both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Valentina Caperton of Oak Park, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-noon Friday in the Meadows Room at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Dawn Marie Conklin

Dawn Marie Conklin, 42, of Las Vegas died Saturday. She was born Dec. 4, 1957, in Toronto. A resident for 39 years, he was a food server.

She is survived by her husband, Gene P.; two daughters, Summer Ponte and Autumn Conklin, one son, David Ponte, her mother, Dorothy Olague, and one brother, David Marsh, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Gail Marsh of Canada; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Calvary Community Church, 2900 N. Torrey Pines Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

George Wayne Covey

George Wayne Covey, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 21, 1928, in San Diego. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired Army staff sergeant and World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Soledad, and one daughter, Georgia Duncan, both of North Las Vegas; one son, Richard Covey of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Dr. Linda Lee Golden

Dr. Linda Lee Golden, 57, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1942, in Los Angeles, Calif. A resident for 24 years, she was a pediatrician.

She is survived by her husband, Howard P.; six sisters, Joan Brullo and Dee Dee Smith, both of Yuma, Ariz., Roberta Jaeckel of Mesa, Ariz., and Lorree Bayiatis, JoAnn Jacobs and Janice Koerwitz, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, John Barnette, and her stepmother, Lena Barnette, both of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Harold David Gray

Harold David Gray, 40, of Henderson died Oct. 5 in Arkansas. A resident for 31 years, he was born May 21, 1960, in California.

He is preceded in death by one son, Harold Gray Jr.

He is survived by two daughters, Crystal Gray and Cherish Gray, both of Ely; two sons, David Mestas of Henderson and Christopher J. Gray of Ely; his mother, Joan Harrington of Melvern, Ark.; three sisters, Gerry Ray-Wing and Sandra Joiner, both of Melvern, and Katherine Elmer of Henderson; four brothers, Wallace Gray Jr. and Gene Gray, both of Melvern, Lonnie Gray of Hot Springs, Ark., and Semi Gray of Henderson; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday and 9-11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Margaret Virginia Krug

Margaret Virginia Krug, 75, of Las Vegas died Oct. 5 in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Radisson, Saskatchewan. A resident for 12 years, she was an employee of First Santo Tours.

She is survived by her husband, Robert W.; one daughter, Teri E. Krug of Henderson; one son, Robert D. Krug of Culver City, Calif.; one brother, Archie Jones of Calgary, Alberta; one sister, Donna Smith of Kelowna, British Columbia; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Robert Grobl Sr.

Robert Grobl Sr., 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Chicago. A resident for five years, he was a retired service center technician, a Korean War Army and Air Force veteran, and a member of the Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Esther; two sons, Chris Grobl and Robert Grobl Jr., both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Kim Page of Elizabethtown, Ky.; one brother, Don Groble of Mazomanie, Wis.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Harold W. 'Rocky' Gundlach

Harold W. 'Rocky' Gundlach, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 6, 1934, in Panama, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was a retired laborer in the construction industry.

He is survived by one sister, Betty Thompson of Frederica, Del.

William Lanza

William Lanza, 86, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 24, 1914, in Bryan, Texas. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired Army Air Corps captain.

He is survived by his wife, Adelheide; three daughters, Susan Stewart of Georgia and Ingrid Lanza and Michele Sparks, both of Henderson; and six grandchildren.

William George Mason

William George Mason, 70, of Las Vegas died Oct. 3 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 29, 1930, in Whitewood, S.D. A resident for 15 years, he was a pilot.

He is survived by his mother, Nellie Hoist.

Audie Era Robinson

Audie Era Robinson, 87, died Tuesday in a local nursing home. She was born Aug. 17, 1913, in Murray, Ky. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Rees of Las Vegas; three sons, Don Robinson of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Ron Robinson and Jim Robinson, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Cliff Campbell and Dale Campbell, both of Murray; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

James Charles Synagogue

James Charles Synagogue, 50, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 7, 1950, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 48 years, he was a dealer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Jeannetta Crockett, three sons, Charles Crockett, Marty Synagogue and Corey Synagogue, six brothers, LeRoy Synagogue, Larry Synagogue, Freeman Synagogue, Don Synagogue, Vernon Banks and Leonard Banks, and five sisters, Mary Synagogue, Lula Banks, Sheila Banks, Juanita Banks and Doris Blanche, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. A private burial will follow. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
