Metro officers honored for efforts in saving lives

Seven Metro Police officers were recognized Tuesday for on-the-job heroics.
The Livesaving Award was presented to five individuals:
Two officers received the Meritorious Service award for their efforts during a flood in February.
Officer William Stockdale and Sgt. Paul Page assisted motorists and rescued dozens of flood victims over a six-hour period. They also helped rescue a victim trapped in a submerged vehicle.
