Letter: Nothing wrong with VA system

He says we are made to stand in line; no one at this clinic has to stand in line. They have ample, comfortable seating for everyone who is waiting for their appointment. If he spent four years in the military service I'm sure that he spent a lot of time standing in line; we stood in line for everything: to eat, to shower, to get paid and, yes, to see a doctor.
He says that we deserve better treatment and asks, what's wrong with the system? I have been a patient at the Las Vegas VA Medical Center for several years and I find the treatment and care to be excellent. They have good, caring doctors and all of the latest, up-to-date equipment. They will even mail your prescriptions and refills to you, saving you a trip.
So the answer to your question Raymond, "What's wrong with the system?" Nothing.
