Yes.
But there also is bad news for people who think the traffic backups are about over.
The graders and rollers and pavers will be back next year.
Frehner Construction has been working on the project all summer, blocking off mile after mile of the 11-mile stretch of highway for days at a time.
But Department of Transportation spokesman Scott Magruder told the Nevada Appeal they couldn't finish and will be back in April or May to lay down the final layer of the $10.4 million project.
Magruder says the lack of a final layer isn't an ideal situation but shouldn't be a safety concern.
Frehner Construction official Randy Evans said the company is behind on the project, but wouldn't comment on what issues delayed construction, the Appeal reported.
