Story: "The Lady Loves Me" may be the new title of "Viva Las Vegas," the MGM movie currently being filmed here.

The reason for the change, a studio spokesman on the set attests, is because of a budding romance, visible even to casual onlookers, between the stars of the flicker, Elvis and Ann-Margret.

Nov. 21: Early-Morning Blaze Destroys Sun Building

Story: A raging pre-dawn fire that sent smoke billowing high over the city gutted the main building of the Las Vegas Sun newspaper yesterday, causing damage close to $1.5 million.

The cause of the fire was not officially determined by the prevention bureau of the Las Vegas Fire Department. However, printers working in the plant when the blaze started said it began near an air-conditioning compressor.

Nov. 23: Kennedy is Murdered! Nation in Mourning

Story: President Kennedy was assassinated yesterday.

A sniper's shot mortally wounded the 35th President of the United States as he rode in an open car through a crowd of a quarter million in downtown Dallas.

The 46-year-old Kennedy died in Parkland Hospital at approximately 1 p.m. (11 a.m. PST).

Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn as president at 2:39 p.m. (12:39 p.m. PST).

Story: Frank Sinatra Jr., exhausted but in good condition, was released by kidnappers yesterday on payment of a "no deal" $240,000 ransom paid by his famous father after being held a blindfolded captive for two days.
