State revokes contractor’s license, refers case to D.A.

The Nevada State Contractors' Board revoked the license of Cascade Pools Inc. of Las Vegas and ordered it to pay restitution to 88 injured parties and the board's legal expenses.

The board cited Cascade's failure to comply with laws governing contracts for the construction of residential pools and spas and to disclose to its customers financial conflicts of interest. It said Cascade contracted beyond the scope of its license; reported false names to the Nevada Secretary of State's office and failed to provide lien releases and to complete a pool project.

The board also asked the Clark County District Attorney's office to investigate Cascade and its owner, Gregory Majeroff, about pool loans made by United Federal Financial Corp., an allegedly unlicensed company that Majeroff owns.

Majeroff could not be reached for comment.
