Pope anniversary

Las Vegans William and E. Virginia Popescul celebrated their 50th anniversary recently. They were married Sept. 9, 1950, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
The Popesculs are 10-year residents of Las Vegas. William worked as an electrician for Chrysler in Sterling Heights, Mich. He is a member of the Southern Nevada Council of United Auto Workers Retirees and is presently retired. E. Virginia worked as a secretary for Michigan National Corporation. Both are members of St. Paul the Apostle Orthodox Church.
The pair, who have two daughters, Marla G. Popescul of Las Vegas, and Mona L. Chapman of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and one grandchild, Andrew Chapman of Bloomfield, celebrated with a luncheon with out of town guests and the entire St. Paul The Apostle Orthodox Church family at Lawry's.
