Labor agreement reached at Henderson plant

Workers at Titanium Metals Corp.'s Henderson plant have ratified a four-year collective bargaining agreement.
Denver-based Timet said in a statement that the agreement, which covers about 300 production and maintenance workers represented by United Steel Workers of America Local 4856, "provides modest increases in wages and pensions over its term."
Timet officials could not be reached for specifics of the contract, which took effect Monday.
A representative of the United Steel Workers could not be reached for comment, but a message on the union's telephone verified that the contract had been ratified.
