UNLV men’s soccer team takes own tourney crown

The UNLV men's soccer defeated Louisville 3-2 in the championship match of the UNLV Coors Light Invitational Sunday at Peter Johann Memorial Field.
Tournament MVP Tuomas Talvio scored the winning goal in the 88th minute on a Jason Melendez assist, breaking a 2-2 tie.
The Rebels (5-4-1) got on the board first at the 18:45 mark on Talvio's first goal, and made it 2-0 at 60:43 on a goal by Melendez.
Louisville tied it with two goals in a span of six minutes.
The Rebels continue their homestand Friday against UC Santa Barbara (8 p.m.).
