Centennial 73, Valley 70: John Mosier scored 21 points and Mike Smith added 19 for the Bulldogs, who rallied from 14 points down in the final quarter to win. Sam Jackson tallied 32 points for the Vikings in the losing effort.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Centennial 74, Valley 39: Darci Sandoval scored 18 points and Tenecia Jackson chipped in 13 as the Bulldogs opened with a win. Jackie Jackson had 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Vikings.
Faith Lutheran 41, Paradise Christian 22: Stephanie Dingle scored 13 pts and Antonia Barrett helped out with 10 for the Crusaders.
