Vo-Tech 77, Paradise Christian 53: Corey Eatman poured in 29 points and Mike Summerlin chopped in with 15 for the Road Runners.

Silverado 68, Boulder City 44: Jason Gifford scored 13 pts and Jarreau Jett tallied 10 to lead a balanced scoring attack for the Skyhawks.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Vo-Tech 48, Paradise Christian 26: Keisha Stevenson scored 15 points and Afton Pratt added 12 points for the Road Runners.

Bonanza 77, Basic 32: The Bengals got 15 points from Lyndsay Gensler, 14 from Jen Davey and 12 from Denise Davis in their season opener.
