Sparks residents angry at proposed development

Residents say Vista Boulevard and other roads in the area are already congested, and the Copper Canyon Commerce and Technology Park would only add to the problem.
"There's times if I head out here early in the morning ... there's a jam there right now," said resident Hugh Jones.
Resident Ardena Perry said air pollution already is so bad along Vista Boulevard that she can't ride her bicycle there.
But Copper Canyon project manager Michael Barnes defended the development, saying Vista Boulevard would not need additional widening because of the project.
City planners said the hillside development would add nearly 50,000 vehicle trips a day to the area.
