Eugene Bogle was arrested Friday for investigation of two counts of attempted murder.
He's accused of trying to suffocate his 77-year-old wife, Carrie Bogle, by placing a plastic bag and pillow over her face.
Bogle was confronted after the first incident at Washoe Progressive Care on Oddie Boulevard and told to leave, but he ignored the request, police said.
His wife received immediate medical attention to assist with her breathing.
Investigators said Bogle confessed during a subsequent interview.
