Letter: 77,000 tons of nuke waste only beginning

In the proposed storage of 77,000 tons of high-level nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain it appears that we are overlooking something.
In the 25 to 30 years it will take to transport the waste to the site, won't the country's 100 commercial nuclear power plants produce an additional 60,000 tons of waste? Is this also destined for Yucca Mountain?
