Owners of the All-American SportPark in Las Vegas say the nine-hole golf course and Callaway Golf Center won't be part of the planned sale of the theme park.
Company officials said earlier in the week they are in discussions with experienced park owners about acquiring the property, which includes a themed batting cage and Go-Kart track adjacent to the golf course.
Kirk Hartle, a spokesman for All-American SportPark Inc., said the 42-acre golf course and Callaway Golf Center, one of the only profit centers of the park, would not be part of the sale.
Officials said revenues for the golf center were $650,747 for the third quarter of 2000, up 18.6 percent from the third quarter of 1999. Overall, park revenues were down 15.2 percent for the quarter.
