Judge to issue ruling on D-I homeowner association dispute

Clark County District Judge Mark Denton said he would rule in a few days in a dispute over whether Desert Inn resort owner Steve Wynn can now run the Desert Inn homeowners association.
Denton spent Wednesday afternoon hearing arguments from an attorney for Wynn, attorneys for 12 homeowners who have refused to sell their homes to Wynn and one of those homeowners. The residents claim Wynn is illegally trying to run their association.
Also Wednesday, Denton reitterated an order he issued Nov. 7 that Wynn must remove a fence his crews installed around the golf course that the hold-out homeowners say obstructs their views.
