Myrtle Allen

Myrtle Allen, 100, of Las Vegas died Nov. 2 in Las Vegas. She was born May 28, 1900. A resident for 65 years, she was a homemaker.

Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

Edward C. Bolan

Edward C. Bolan, 78, of Las Vegas died Nov. 4 in Las Vegas. He was born June 25, 1922, in New York. A resident for 12 years, he was a real estate broker and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Hazel Sykes of Las Vegas; one daughter, Patricia Morrison, and one sister, Hillie Cull, both of Florida; one brother, John Bolan of California; and one grandchild.

American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.

Christopher J. Carroll

Christopher J. Carroll, 37, of Las Vegas died Nov. 7 in Salt Lake City. A truck driver, he was born Sept. 14, 1963, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Carroll, and one daughter, Shauntovia Carroll, both of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Jeff Carroll of Las Vegas and Donel Fitzgerald of Atlanta; and his special love, Reesie Frazier.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Wednesday in Evergreen Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St. Burial will follow in Bunkers Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Theodore S. Christie

Theodore S. Christie, 84, of Boulder City died Saturday in Boulder City. He was born Nov. 30, 1915, in Perth Amboy, N.J. A resident for six years, he was a newsprint handler for a newspaper and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille; two daughters, Joan Eisenbraun of Las Vegas and Patricia Warren of Syracuse, N.Y.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Entombment will be in California. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Lynn C. Cole

Lynn C. Cole, 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. A horse trainer, she was born March 3, 1940, in Bakersfield, Calif.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; one stepson, Scott Peters; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Larry Branco and Courtney Cole; and five grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Emil David Sr.

Emil David Sr., 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born March 5, 1913, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired restaurateur, a World War II Coast Guard veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Marquita; two daughters, Rosemary Preston and Pamela Vold, both of Henderson; two sons, Emil David Jr. and Ronald David Sr., both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

Mildred DeJohnette

Mildred DeJohnette, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 11, 1929, in Oakridge, La.

She is survived by four daughters, Carolyn, Diane, Angela and Edna, and two sons, Herman and Micheal, all of Las Vegas; her father, Jack DeJohnette of Grambling, La.; two sisters, Gloria and Ollie, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Melvin of Las Vegas and John of San Bernardino, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Missionary Baptist Church, 1439 Lawry Ave. Burial will be in Davis' Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Helen DePalma

Helen DePalma, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. She was born July 13, 1923, in Jeannette, Pa. A resident for four years, she was a retired drugstore clerk.

She is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Runt and Rita Calgaro, both of Jeannette.

Sylvia Sarah Jaeger-Gebron

Sylvia Sarah Jaeger-Gebron, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 29, 1924, in London. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her companion, Burke J. Wilson; two sons, Dennis P. Jaeger of England and Stanley S. Jaeger of Omaha, Neb.; one brother, Jack Barr of South Africa; and one granddaughter.

Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Heinz A. Knocke

Heinz A. Knocke, 70, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 3, 1930, in Germany. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired university senior research design engineer, a member of Black Mountain Golf and Country Club and the Masons' Mount Moriah Lodge 39.

He is survived by his wife, Raili O.; one son, Harry H. Knocke of Henderson; one sister, Inge Reddig, and one brother, Richard Lungwitz, both of Germany; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Lillian W. Lynch

Lillian W. Lynch, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 26, 1926, in Cowely, Wyo. A resident for 28 years, she was an auditor in the gaming industry.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Lynch of Las Vegas and Brenda Mason of San Diego; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Charlotte G. McDougal

Charlotte G. McDougal, 95, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1905, in Peaver, S.D. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired Clark County School District teacher for 26 years, a UNLV graduate and a member of AARP.

She is survived by two sons, Sidney Smith of Las Vegas and Robert Williams of Columbus, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is private. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Alex M. Ortega

Alex M. Ortega, 31, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 3, 1969, in New Mexico. A resident for 11 years, he was a welder for a disposal service.

He is survived by his wife, Gwenda; one daughter, Gabriella Faith Ortega, and one son, Alex Joseph Ortega, both of Las Vegas; his mother and stepfather, Lupe and Julian Jaramillo of Pojoaque, N.M.; his father and stepmother, George and Coralee Ortega of Santa Fe, N.M.; two sisters, Monica Pena of Santa Fe and Sandra Santiago of Las Vegas; one brother, George Ortega of Questa, N.M.; two stepbrothers, Steven Kloeppel of Chandler, Ariz., and Staff Sgt. Kevin Kloeppel of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and his grandmother, Florence Ortega of Garcia, Colo.

Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

David Gilbert Peckham

David Gilbert Peckham, 68, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 2, 1932, in Norwalk, Ohio. A resident for eight years, he was a security officer and a Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Gracita; four daughters, Bambi Peckham of Los Angeles and Lara Gayda and Camille Gayda, both of Las Vegas, and Susan Lattuca; one sister, Jeanne Pickett of Akron, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today and 8-9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Walter A. Rux

Walter A. Rux, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1922, in Seguin, Texas. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired school district transportation supervisor, a World War II Army veteran and recipient of two Bronze Stars, past worshipful master of the Masonic Lodge in Tinley Park, Ill., and member of the Medina Shriners Temple for more than 50 years in Chicago.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; one son, Greg Rux of Las Vegas; one sister, Alice Holmes of Corpus Christi, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Ernest George Valerio

Ernest George Valerio, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born May 10, 1929, in Morris, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired construction laborer and a member of Local 872.

He is survived by three daughters, Star McIntosh of Nevada and Dorena Applebee and Blinda Sanchez, both of Illinois; four sons, Ernie Valerio of Nevada, John Valerio of Delaware, Rick Valerio of Washington state and Tim Valerio of Illinois; two sisters, Rosemary Enger and Edith Heller, both of Illinois; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Services and burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Evelyn B. Viloria

Evelyn B. Viloria, 40, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 27, 1959, in the Philippines. A resident for two years, she was a retired Rio hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by her husband, Renato B.; two daughters, Novaliza Viloria and Renalyn Viloria, and one son, Rosevelt Viloria, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Wendell W. Wehrman

Wendell W. Wehrman, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1921, in Eldora, Iowa. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired construction worker and a member of the Teamsters Union.

He is survived by his wife, Reba; one daughter, Leola Bucher of Carmel, Ind.; three sons, William Wehrman of Valparaiso, Ind., Daniel Wehrman of Las Vegas and Thomas Wehrman of Sullivan, Mo.; one sister, Mary Formaster of Fallon; one brother, Don Wehrman of West Branch, Iowa; and nine grandchildren.

Services and burial were in Iowa. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Kenneth V.J. Wynne

Kenneth V.J. Wynne, 37, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 29, 1963, in Urbana-Champaign, Ill. A resident for four years, he was a CEO of a real estate investment firm.

He is survived by his parents, William and Marie Wynne of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lynda Hannan of Tampa, Fla., and Diane Wynne of Las Vegas; and one brother, Bill Wynne of Lebanon, Ohio.

Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. A vigil will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Dante S. Yballe

Dante S. Yballe, 33, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 2, 1967, in Virginia. A resident for 28 years, he was a computer operator.

He is survived by his parents, Danilo and Anunciaciom Yballe of Las Vegas; one brother, Dominic Yballe of Oregon; two sisters, Claudine of Brookline, Mass., and Liza of Chicago; and his grandmother, Gliceria Sedillo of the Philippines.
