Letter: Bayno should read Juipe

I am a big and longtime Rebel basketball fan and I thought Dean Juipe's column "Pollsters not excited by Rebels" on Nov. 8 was just excellent. Actually, I think all of Juipe's columns are excellent. He is by far the best writer in Las Vegas.

I hope Bill Bayno and the Rebel family read Juipe's column and realize that it is about time we really brought back the Rebels' winning reputation.

I have always been a Bayno supporter, and I'm fairly happy with our marginal successes. However, our standards were set very high during the 1973-92 era.

We ache to return to those days.
