In the sky

Annual event
The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada will host its fourth-annual Jewish Bookfair Saturday through Nov. 19. Programs for adults and children will be at Temple Beth Shalom, the Hebrew Academy and Congregation Ner Tamid. For more information, call 794-0090.
Green Valley

Teen pregnancy
"Children of the Children," a photo exhibit designed to highlight Nevada's teen pregnancy rate -- the highest in the nation -- is on display through Nov. 17 at the Sawyer State Office Building, 555 E. Washington Ave. The exhibit is hosted by the Nevada Public Health Foundation. Admission is free.
Two artists
"Hoodoo," an exhibit by Megan Roberts and Raymond Ghirardo that explores the relationships between landscapes and geothermal areas on ceramic, video and sound installations, is on display through Nov. 19 at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St. Call 229-6383.
