Systems Research & Development, a Las Vegas-based software development company, announced it has licensed its "Near Real-Time Data Warehouse" software product to MGM MIRAGE.
The system will allow customer information to be gathered from properties across the MGM MIRAGE portfolio within seconds of being received by each property. The information can then be accessed almost immediately by any property hooked into the system, and used to assist the company's marketing efforts. The system is capable of processing 1,000 customer records per minute.
MGM MIRAGE did not disclose what specific marketing uses the system would be used for, citing competitive reasons. But in a statement, Mirage Resorts Chief Executive Bobby Baldwin said the system would allow MGM MIRAGE to "deliver extraordinary new levels of customer service."
