Harrah’s, Silicon Gaming developing themed slot

Harrah's Entertainment Inc. announced Wednesday plans to jointly develop a series of slot machines with Silicon Gaming Inc. themed on the popular CBS TV game show "The Price is Right."
Under terms of the deal, the 21 gaming properties owned or operated by Harrah's will have the first right to use Price is Right slots. Silicon Gaming has a joint presence in Palo Alto, Calif., and Las Vegas.
"With more than 5,000 episodes that span nearly three decades, the show is a demographic direct match with our customer base," said Bruce Rowe, Harrah's vice president of brand strategy. "The Price is Right format has many themes that will enable us to build a variety of games to extend the brand and enhance customer loyalty."
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The Price is Right trademark is owned by Grundy International Operations BV and is licensed by Pearson Television Inc.
