Letter: Dirty tricks traced to Nixon
Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000 | 10:34 a.m.
It is my opinion that the tenor of this year's presidential race was conceived right after former President George Bush -- and his family and supporters -- were incensed that he did not get a second term.
It is true that the Republicans wasted no time when President Clinton took office to start their dirty tricks, which Republicans have installed as one of the solid planks in their party platform.
It started with Nixon before and during his term. We all should remember that.
