Forum to cover medical needs
Seniors United will hold a forum covering various topics, including medical and financial, 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the West Flamingo Senior Center, 6225 W. Flamingo Road.
Guest Speakers will be Mark Hanna of Doctors on Call, physicians who make house calls; Sharon Henry, director of Southwest Ambulance Service, who will speak about the new service; and Joey Hughes Asset Protection Services, who will show participants how to manage their assets.

Henderson to host teen event
A traveling scavenger hunt is being hosted 6-9 p.m. Friday by the Silver Springs Recreation Center, 1951 Silver Springs Parkway.
The event is open to teens (13-17 years) for $3 per person. The event is sponsored by the Henderson Parks and Recreation Department.

Holiday craft auction set
The GFWC Junior Mesquite Club of Las Vegas will hold its annual Live Holiday Craft auction at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 702 E. St. Louis Ave.
With the theme this year, An Evening of Traditional Treasures, it will begin with a preview of the craft items, and delicious food and beverage provided.
Admission is $5 and will be deducted from any craft purchase. For more information, call 369-2764.
Counselor will provide answers
A Medicare trained counselor will discuss and answer questions about Medicare Part A and B 2-3 p.m. Wednesday at Valley Hospital Medical Center, 620 Shadow Lane.
The counselor will also discuss new insurance choices available for seniors. To register or for more information, call 388-4665.
