Fight brings violent end to Community Center party

Lyon county deputies were called to the scene, where they found 40 to 50 people fighting in the Pike Street area of Dayton Saturday night.
Deputies attempted to break up the fracas, but were forced to back off and call for assistance.
About 30 law enforcement officers from the Lyon County and Carson City sheriff's departments as well as the Nevada Highway Patrol were called in, and had things under control within an hour.
There were another 100-150 people at the gathering, but no arrests were made because many of the people in the fight had fled or could not be identified the (Carson City) Nevada Appeal reported on Monday.
