Henderson offers classes on astrology, CPR and puppetry

Henderson's Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring classes today on astrology, CPR and puppetry.
A Heartsaver CPR workshop offering instruction on adult, child and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency care for choking victims will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Black Mountain Recreation Center, 599 Greenway Road. Risk factors for heart attacks also be discussed. Enrollment is $12. Call 565-2880.
A professional astrologer will discuss how relationships are influenced by astrological signs, planets and houses, from 2-4 p.m. today at the Lorna J. Kesterson Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St. Enrollment is $15. Call 565-2121.
The Icarus Puppet Company will present "The Crane Daughter," based on a Japanese legend about promises, at 7:30 p.m. today at the Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, 1575 Galleria Drive. Admission is $7 for adults; $4 for youth under 17. Call 565-2367.
