A Las Vegas woman accused of driving the getaway car in a robbery that left a Las Vegas police officer blind in one eye has pleaded guilty.
Tamika Beavers, 20, was scheduled to be tried next week on 10 felony charges arising from the June 14 robbery at Macayo Vegas restaurant.
That trial was canceled when she pleaded guilty Wednesday to robbery with use of a deadly weapon. She is scheduled to be sentenced April 26.
The charge carries a maximum prison sentence of 12 to 30 years.
Beavers gave authorities an account of the robbery that culminated in the shooting of officer Peter Rossi.
Terrance Winn is scheduled to be tried in February on charges arising from the robbery. Marcus Weatherspoon faces a March trial, and Darnell Harris will be tried in April.
Prosecutors contend Harris opened fire on the officer as the gunmen were running from the restaurant moments after the robbery.
