Grace L. Bearden
Grace L. Bearden, 87, of Boulder City died Aug. 3 in Boulder City. She was born Aug. 25, 1913, in Bigelow, Ark. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Vernon J. Peterson of Vista, Calif., and James C. Peterson of Hawaii; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Raymond C. Benitez Sr.
Raymond C. Benitez Sr., 89, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1911, in Panama City, Panama. A resident for 10 years, he retired from the Los Angeles Herald Examiner after 35 years as an advertising manager and was a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Alice S.; one son, Raymond C. Benitez Jr. of Las Vegas; one daughter, Linda E. Cooper of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Bonnie Beverly
Bonnie Beverly, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 20, 1925, in Spavinaw, Okla. A resident for 25 years, she was a casino floor person.
She was preceded in death by one son, John Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, E.T.; three sons, Bennie Wilson and Curtis Wilson, both of Las Vegas, and James Johnson of Reno; one stepdaughter, Lonnie Shelton of Oakley, Calif.; one sister, Frances Phelps of Lockeford, Calif.; two brothers, Orville Cunningham of Las Vegas and Jack Cunningham of Los Angeles; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Josephine DeLuca
Josephine DeLuca, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 24, 1917, in New Jersey. A resident for 24 years, she was a secretary for the school district.
She is survived by one son, Roger DeLuca.

Jimmie Fisler
Jimmie Fisler, 66, of Henderson died Oct. 14 in Henderson. A resident for many years, he was born June 21, 1934.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Lynn P. Fix
Lynn P. Fix, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1916, in Shellsburg, Iowa. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired government movie projectionist and a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Clerice M.; two daughters, Sharon Ludwig of Corwith, Iowa, and Kathy Gunther of Gloucester, Va.; two sons, Michael Fix of Las Vegas and Richard Fix of Des Moines, Iowa; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Loretto Hartmans
Loretto Hartmans, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 21, 1914, in Merna, Neb. A resident for 58 years, she was a homemaker, a member of Catholic Daughters and Children's Guild for Child Haven.
She is survived by one daughter, Jeanne Hartmanszerbiec of Las Vegas; one sister, Eileen Wickstrom of Cottonwood, Ariz.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 6 p.m. vigil Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. James Catholic Church, 820 N. H St. Graveside services will follow at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

George F. Kelley
George F. Kelley, 89, of Henderson died Monday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 22, 1911, in Emporia, Kan. A resident for 52 years, he was a retired pipefitter in the construction industry and a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525.
He is survived by two sons, Dennis Kelley and Michael Kelley, both of Henderson; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Edith M. Lamark
Edith M. Lamark, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 29, 1913, in Jamestown, N.Y. A resident for 47 years, she was a casino waitress.
She is survived by one daughter, Maryann McCallister of Summerville, S.C.; three brothers, Frank A. Modica of Las Vegas and Vincent Modica and Phillip Modica, both of Jamestown; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled 1 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Murray Norman
Murray Norman, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born Feb. 11, 1930.

Mary Elizabeth Pearson
Mary Elizabeth Pearson, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 4, 1930, in Butte, Mont. A resident for 36 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Summerlin/Sun City Golf Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Tina Wardell of Las Vegas and Wendy Pearson of Mukilteo, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Gail Gardner of Finland; one stepson, Neils L. Pearson of Las Vegas; one brother William Reilly of Springfield, Mass.; and two grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 220 N. 14th St. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Bernard Leo Shea Jr.
Bernard Leo Shea Jr., 57, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 13, 1943, in Massachusetts. A resident for one week, he was a computer technician, an Army veteran and a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by one sister, Cheryl A. McMahon.

Julia Taylor, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 9, 1921, in Oklahoma. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

Alana Nicole Terflinger
Alana Nicole Terflinger, 1, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 2, 1999, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her mother, Christine Terflinger, one sister, Alicia Forrester, one brother, Lawrence Forrester, her grandmother, Sherry Terflinger, and her great-grandmother, Elizabeth Carano, all of Henderson.
Visitation was scheduled 1-5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
