The Clark County coroner determined Thursday that TNN motor sports announcer Steve Evans died of a heart attack. He was found in his Las Vegas hotel room Wednesday night after missing a production meeting in advance of the World of Outlaws race at LVMS.
Evans, 58, is survived by his wife, Sandy, and three children. A memorial fund has been set up in Evans' memory. Contributions may be sent to: Steve Evans Memorial Fund, 27422 Via Garcia, Mission Viejo, Calif. 92692.
