Letter: Republican Party must think we are all idiots

His six years of public service have obviously not prepared him for the presidency. His earlier life as a businessman unworthy of merit doesn't help support his claims of being a leader or person of high moral character.
He is perhaps the most unqualified candidate ever presented by a major party, and reflects a "Trojan horse" strategy by the Republican Party, which Americans should be furious about.
The Trojan horse looked like a gift on the outside; however, its hollow interior facilitated a takeover by forces hostile to the best interests of the state. Bush is just such a hollow vessel.
His representation as an outsider to the Washington scene is the most ridiculous marketing ploy ever perpetrated on the American public and indicates that the Republican Party believes we are a nation of idiots.
The recent revelation that Republicans are funding advertisements for Ralph Nader in Oregon and Washington in order to take votes away from Al Gore shows Bush's true colors -- a man whose principles change with the winds and who has no internal compass, moral or otherwise. Don't let this Trojan Texan in the gates!
