Alleged clothing thief killed departing scene

A woman Las Vegas police think was fleeing the Boulevard Mall after stealing clothing was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday when she darted into traffic.
The woman was dead at the scene of the accident in front of the mall.
Sgt. Curt Albert said the woman was found wearing several layers of clothing, some with the sensor tags still attached.
Albert said the woman darted into traffic and the driver had no time to stop.
The victim's name has not been released.
