Letter: Gore right one for Oval Office
Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000 | 9:24 a.m.
A leader who will lead our country? As I closely watch and listen to him I note how he brags about his ability to lead. No issues other than prescriptions, education and the "right" people. He cunningly evades important questions.
Gore is the presidential candidate who needs no leader's brag. He knows and talks about all the important issues; how to solve problems, needing no sidekicks to run the country for him. Vice presidential nominee Joe Lieberman can advise and help (and military personnel of course).
Gore is his own man with years of government experience. He knows all the ropes. He is the right person to occupy the Oval Office.
