Irene Austin

Irene Austin, 85, of Parowan, Utah, died Monday in Parowan. She was born Dec. 15, 1914, in Washakie, Utah. A former Las Vegas resident for 50 years, she co-owned Austin Drug Stores and worked for the Clark County Business Licensing Department.

She is survived by three daughters, Janet Edwards of Parowan, Joyce Bryan of Henderson and Jeanne Beebe of Layton, Utah; one son, Jeffrey Austin of Henderson; 19 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in the Eighth and Franklin LDS chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Robert Wayne Buckley

Robert Wayne Buckley, 37, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 3, 1962. A resident for 13 years, he was a tile setter.

He is survived by his wife, Holly of Linda, Calif.; his parents, Robert and Linda Buckley of California; one son, Cory, and three daughters, Brigette, Kady and Rhiannon, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Rick Buckley, and one sister, Paige Buckley, both of California.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Linda Marie Bump

Linda Marie Bump, 49, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 22, 1951, in Simi Valley, Calif. A resident for 13 years, she was a crossing guard for the school district and was a member of the BTW-Trike Club.

She is survived by her husband, William; and three daughters, Summer Anne and Sunny Rosemarie, both of Las Vegas, and Sherry Marie Wilson of Oregon.

A memorial service is scheduled 10 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be private.

Raymond G. Duquette

Raymond G. Duquette, 79, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1921, in New Bedford, Mass. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired vice president for an electronics manufacturing firm.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; two sons, Raymond Duquette and David Duquette, both of Henderson; one sister, Kathleen Stone of Mission Viejo, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Joe Arlan Goldsberry

Joe Arlan Goldsberry, 74, of Henderson died Oct. 23 in a local hospital. He was born April 17, 1926, in Iowa. A resident for 10 years, he was a salesman, an Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by one son, Kim Goldsberry of Illinois; two daughters, Ann Allen of Las Vegas and Lynn Vogel of Iowa; one sister, Jane Johnson of Iowa; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Genevieve Hicks

Genevieve Hicks, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 26, 1913, in Missouri. A resident for eight years, she was a gas station owner.

She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Woodruff of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

No local services scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson is handling arrangements.

Sheila D. Holman

Sheila D. Holman, 33, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 13, 1966, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a hotel porter.

She is survived by two daughters, Teela P. Holman and Jasmine S. Holman, and one son, O'Ryan D. Holman, all of North Las Vegas; one brother, Alfred Lee Holman Jr. of Las Vegas; two sisters, Tina A. Flowers of North Las Vegas and Debbie M. Rice of Las Vegas; one brother, Alfred Lee Holman Jr. of Las Vegas; and her grandmother, Elsie Lee Holman of Kingsland, Ark.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Friday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 N. G St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Joan K. Isham

Joan K. Isham, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 25, 1932, in Birmingham, England. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; one daughter, Kim Mynster, and one son, Stephen Isham, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Violet Gibbons, Margaret Adcock and Lily Cooper, and two brothers, John Gibbons and Pat Gibbons, all of Birmingham; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Betty Jean McDonald

Betty Jean McDonald, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 22, 1926, in Woodville, Ohio. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Snyder, Sharon McDonald and Laurie, all of Las Vegas; four brothers, Lowell Stambaugh Jr. of Whittier, Calif., Russell Stambaugh of Hemet, Calif., Richard Stambaugh of Maumee, Ohio, and Gilbert Stambaugh of Florida; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Watson Harold Parker

Watson Harold Parker, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 20, 1911, in Beaver Dam, Ohio. A resident for 23 years, he was a machine repairman for an automobile transmission manufacturer.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; four daughters, Norma Jean Parker of Pharr, Texas, Sandra Kay Jones of Malapalias, Calif., and Nancy Jo Schroyer and Kathleen Dale, both of Toledo, Ohio; three sons, Robert Parker of Pharr and Richard Parker and John Parker, both of Michigan; two brothers, Robert Parker of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Charles Parker of Florida; one sister, Elizabeth Hoskins of Colorado Springs; 47 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Stewart and Prince LDS chapel. Burial will be private. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Richard Martin Phayre

Richard Martin Phayre, 67, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 2, 1932, in Pennsylvania. A resident for eight years, he was a retired owner of florist shops and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; and one daughter, Dina Phayre of Berkeley, Calif.

Services are private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson handled arrangements.

Phillip Pilchman

Phillip Pilchman, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 13, 1918, in New York. A resident for four years, he was a hotel executive, an Army veteran and an entertainer in his younger years under the name of "Phil Kugel."

He is survived by his wife, Rita; two sons, Jeff and Jack; and one sister, Vera.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Mary Ann Rogers

Mary Ann Rogers, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 12, 1939, in Pound, Va. A resident for 31 years, she was a retired registered nurse and a member of the AKC Bulldog Club of America.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; two daughters, Debara Hoyt of Las Vegas and Katrina Rogers of Henderson; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Mary J. Roy

Mary J. Roy, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 22, 1931, in Manchester, N.H. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert R.; one son, Kevin R. Roy of Florida; one daughter, Donna Roy Hunt of New Hampshire; and two grandchildren.

All services will be in New Hampshire. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Louis E. Tolmer

Louis E. Tolmer, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 3, 1918, in Bridgeport, Pa. A resident for 6 1/2 years, he was a retired plant manager in the caulking industry, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Sun City Men's Golf Club.

He is survived by his wife, Norma; five daughters, Linda Davies of Alhambra, Calif., Jackie Kemper of San Dimas, Calif., Bobette Arthur and Lori Bailey, both of San Lorenzo, Calif., and Sonja Langdon of Concord, Calif.; two sons, Mike Tolmer of LaVerne, Calif., and Mike Powell of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two sisters, Mary Balla of Allen Park, Mich., and Enis Kaufman of Palmetto, Fla.; two brothers, Ben Tolmer of Bethel Park, Pa., and Bruno Tolmer of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Bob 'Mr. T' Tonelli

Bob "Mr. T" Tonelli, 62, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 6, 1937, in Muse, Pa. A resident for 30 years, he was a casino shift manager and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha; one son, Robert Tonelli Jr. of Las Vegas; his mother, Lena Tonelli of Muse; two brothers, Al Tonelli of Tampa, Fla., and Robert Buss of Natrona Heights, Pa.; and two sisters, Elsie Buss of Natrona Heights and Linda Tonelli of Muse.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. and from 9 a.m.-noon Thursday in Palm Mortuary, Eastern. Mass will be celebrated 1:15 p.m. Thursday in Holy Family Catholic Church.

Donald Keith Walker

Donald Keith Walker, 89, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born June 1, 1911, in Utah. A resident for many years, he was a custodian for the Clark County School District.

He is survived by one son, K. Eric Walker of Henderson.

John R. Wamsley

John R. Wamsley, 75, of Vernal, Utah, died Friday in Vernal. He was born July 6, 1925, in Peebles, Ohio. A former resident of Las Vegas, he was a certified public accountant and worked for Touche, Niven, Bailey and Smart in Dayton, Ohio, was a World War II Army veteran, worked for the Department of Energy in Piketon, Ohio, and in Las Vegas, and was a member of the American Legion, Masons, Ohio Society of CPAs, AICPA, Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite and the Shrine.

He is survived by one daughter, Jahn Blackburn of Jensen, Utah; and two grandchildren.

Herbert Owens Warney

Herbert Owens Warney, 69, of Las Vegas died Oct. 23 in Las Vegas. He was born April 2, 1931, in New York state. He was a government employee and an Army veteran.

He is survived by four daughters, Sarah Carter and Melody Nida, both of Las Vegas, and Tina Majerus and Linda Phillips, both of Minnesota; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Francis Joseph Weeks

Francis Joseph Weeks, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 16, 1933, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired hotel receiver and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Blanche; four sons, Michael Weeks, John Weeks, Robert Weeks and Robert Tighe, and two daughters, Caroline Nagele and Frances Andregg, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Helen Schneider of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and 17 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
