Annie Clementine Bell

Annie Clementine Bell, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 13, 1919, in Detroit. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Maureen Pretell of Henderson; one son, Donald B. Bell of Fairbanks, Alaska; and one brother, John McPhillips of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday in Memory Gardens. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Philip Blackmon

Philip Blackmon, 79, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Texas. A resident for six years, he was a security guard and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maryam N.; one brother, Chester Blackmon of Richmond, Calif.; and two sisters, Jessie M. Robinson of Oakland, Calif., and Ernie B. Jones of Richmond.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Richmond. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Tony Bollettino

Tony Bollettino, 57, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 29, 1942, in Passaic, N.J. A resident for six years, he was a retired city government laborer.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy; three sons, Anthony Bollettino of Brick, N.J., and Thomas Bollettino and Joseph Bollettino, both of Henderson; one daughter, Lisa Campanella of Henderson; his mother, Elida Bollettino, and one brother, Robert Bollettino, both of Clifton, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will be private.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Noah Challence Cushman

Noah Challence Cushman, 2, of Las Vegas died Friday in a California hospital. He was born March 10, 1998, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Mary and David Cushman, two sisters, Kamara and Kandellyn, and two brothers, Michael and Cristian, all of Las Vegas.

Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Joseph Stephen Dailey Sr.

Joseph Stephen Dailey Sr., 86, of Melbourne, Fla., died Friday. He was born March 17, 1914, in Pittsburgh. A former Las Vegas resident from 1975 to 1990, he was a retired Metro Police officer at McCarran International Airport and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, Joseph Dailey Jr. of Melbourne; one sister, Dale Meyer of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Mary Lee Duncan

Mary Lee Duncan, 88, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 17, 1911, in Lusk, Wyo. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired public school teacher.

She is survived by one brother, Steven Hancock of Post Falls, Idaho.

Visitation is scheduled 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Bonnie A. Dupree

Bonnie A. Dupree, 38, of Las Vegas died May 4 in a local hospital. She was born June 23, 1961.

Richard R. Elbertson

Richard R. Elbertson, 88, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born July 5, 1911, in Irvine, Calif. A resident for 70 years, he retired as an auto mechanic for Clark County in 1976 and was a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, June V.; two daughters, Ruth Lampson of Palmdale, Calif., and Patsy McPherson of Eugene, Ore.; one son, Howard D. Elbertson of Henderson; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Edward Gallagher

Edward Gallagher, 85, of Las Vegas died May 6 in a local health care center. He was born May 21, 1914, in Minnesota.

Mary Ellen Gibbett

Mary Ellen Gibbett, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 25, 1922, in Kansas. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Connie, Agatha, Roberta and Donna; one brother, William; one sister, Peggy; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Delwin Hinton

Delwin Hinton, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 16, 1923, in LaVerkin, Utah. A resident for 60 years, he was a retired master electrician, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 357.

He is survived by his wife, Margie; four sisters, Gwen Nielson of Henderson, Beverley Smikin of Panaca, Shirley Judd of St. George, Utah, and Lorna Squire of Pleasant Grove, Utah; and two brothers, Max Hinton of Henderson and Ron Young of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Helen Keen

Helen Keen, 76, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 27, 1924, in New Orleans. A resident of Henderson and Las Vegas for 29 yeas, she worked for the state of Nevada prior to her retirement in 1980.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney; one daughter, Lisa Mirabel of Henderson; one son, Steve Falcone of Reno; and three grandchildren.

Private family services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Cleveland Gerald Kingsland III

Cleveland Gerald Kingsland III, 46, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 15, 1953, in New York. A resident for 30 years, he was a bartender and a dealer.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret; one brother, Gary; and one sister, Cindy Nicholson.

John Kizman

John Kizman, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 1, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired bookkeeper and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by three sisters, Anna Luongo and Elizabeth Illic, both of Las Vegas, and Agnes Mangels of Massapequa, N.Y.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Stanley John Koterba

Stanley John Koterba, 63, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1936, in Passaic, N.J. A resident for six years, he was a taxicab driver and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen Thompson and Jennifer Elvin, and his companion, Gertrude Garcia, all of Henderson; one brother, Robert Koterba of Saddle River, N.J.; one sister, Frances Koterba of Little Ferry, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in St. Rose Dominican Hospital, 102 E. Lake Mead Drive, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Billie Ann Lazaro

Billie Ann Lazaro, 53, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born July 27, 1946, in Roseburg, Ore. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Pace of North Las Vegas and Stephanie Shepherd of Las Vegas; one son, David Shepherd Jr. of Medford, Ore.; her mother, Mildred B. Hughes, and one sister, Mae Rowe, both of Boulder City; and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

Judy Quinn

Judy Quinn, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 15, 1926, in Waimea, Hawaii. A resident for 12 years, she was a waitress for 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, Peter; one son, Stephen Delano of Texas; two daughters, Nicki Manthos of Arizona and Ann Kadlub of Oregon; two brothers, Fred Apudhan of California and George Apudhan of Hawaii; two sisters, Louisa Tanigawa and Rose Rabago, both of Hawaii; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way. Burial will be private. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Frank Joseph Ramoni

Frank Joseph Ramoni, 50, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 19, 1949, in Philadelphia. A resident for 29 years, he was a box man at local casinos and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran who earned two Purple Hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa A.; one daughter, Breanna Clary of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Edward Ramoni of Peoria, Ariz., and Michael Ramoni of Miraloma, Calif.

A memorial service will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the family residence. Burial will be private. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Nora Ann Richie

Nora Ann Richie, 89, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 23, 1910, in Murphysboro, Ill. A resident for 30 years, she was a machinist for 11 years at Magnet Manufacturing and Thomas & Skinner.

She is survived by three daughters, Simone Wilson of Indianapolis, Kathy Stopher of Roswell, Calif., and Janet Preston of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and five great-granddaughters.

Harold Roth

Harold Roth, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1922, in Illinois. A resident for 45 years, he was a bartender.

He is survived by one daughter, Michelle DeFevre-Chapman; one son, Gerald Roth; one brother, Eugene Rothenbaum; one sister, Norma Lerman; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were scheduled at 4 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be private.

Arlin Louis Sims

Arlin Louis Sims, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 21, 1914, in Boles, Ark. A resident for one year, he was a retired mechanic shop owner, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and built race cars for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lila; three daughters, Cindy McClurg of Las Vegas, Patsy Berry of Iowa Park, Texas, and Paula Via of Vinton, La.; three stepsons, Ronny Via of North Bend, Ore., Tony Via of Portland, Ore., and Kenneth Via of Iowa Park; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Nathaniel Station Sr.

Nathaniel Station Sr., 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 26, 1929, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 11 years, he was an electronics inspector for the federal government, a World War II, Vietnam War and Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of the Shriners and the Masons and a high priest and temple worker for the LDS Church.

He is survived by his wife, Odilia; two sons, Nathaniel Station Jr. of Boise, Idaho, and Odilio Station of Henderson; one daughter, Pilar Apostalo of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 9:30 a.m. services Thursday in the Sun Valley LDS Ward Chapel. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Cedric D. Towner, 36, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 24, 1963, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a hotel security officer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene; three daughters, Brandi Towner, Candice Towner and Kenisha Kline, one son, Cedric D. Towner II, his mother, Yvonne Towner, and two brothers, Bruce T. Towner and De'Andre Towner, all of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Ella Mae Pace of Louisiana.

Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 500 W. Angel Roberto Velazquez Jr., 6, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 4, 1993, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Angel Roberto and Elizabeth Ann Velazquez, one sister, Mariaclena Soto, and two brothers, Victor Cortez and Miguel Angel Velazquez, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Ray and Tila Cortez and Concepcion Valladolid, all of Las Vegas, and Roberto Velazquez of Mexico City.

Norman Craig Walker

Norman Craig Walker, 33, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 19, 1967, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a Chaparral High School graduate and attended Ricks College.

He is survived by his parents, Norman and Naomi Walker, and one brother, Scott Walker, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Melinda "Mindy" Sudweeks of West Jordan, Utah; and his grandparents, Sterling and Catherine "Kate" Alexander of Lander, Wyo.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the LDS stake center on Palora Avenue. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Patricia M. Wisehaupt

Patricia M. Wisehaupt, 53, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 28, 1947, in Minot, N.D. A resident for 14 years, she was the assistant principal at Brown Junior High School in Henderson.

She is survived by her husband, Dallas L.; one daughter, Myra M. Randall of Reno; one son, Dallas N. Wisehaupt of San Francisco; and one brother, Rick Thompson of Glasgow, Mont.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Brown Junior High School gymnasium, 307 Cannes St., Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Paul P. Wolfe

Paul P. Wolfe, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 14, 1916, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 14 years, he was an operating engineer, a World War II Navy veteran, past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a Boy Scout leader and Little League manager.

He is survived by two sons, James A. Wolfe of Las Vegas and Paul Wolfe Jr. of Tennessee; one daughter, Marjorie Koehley of Texas; one brother, Harry Wolfe of Ohio; two sisters, Edna Porter of Florida and Olivia Kepler of Ohio; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
