Las Vegas area fishing report

Stripers have concluded their spawn, so the fish are dispersing and are no longer in large schools. Trolling has been a productive method for locating and catching the fish.
One boater reported that he was having good luck earlier this month at the Meadows, but the fish appear to have left the area. He managed to catch a limit of 20 stripers over the weekend by trolling in open water in front of Stewart's Point.
Trout fishing has been good recently for boaters who are trolling flatfish above Willow Beach. Fair success for largemouth bass has been found in coves around Cottonwood Cove.
