A Las Vegas family sued Behavioral Health Care Corp. and Monte Vista, its Las Vegas mental health center, alleging their daughter was sexually assaulted there.
In a Clark County District Court lawsuit, the family accused a technician of committing a felony by using his authority to force their daughter to engage in "inappropriate and unwanted sexual contact" with him on March 26.
The family said Monte Vista "ineffectively managed the subsequent disclosure of his conduct, refused to acknowledge the seriousness of his misconduct" and didn't take action against such conduct.
Behavioral Health declined comment on the allegations.
