Letter: Some employees are hypocrites
Tuesday, May 30, 2000 | 9:32 a.m.
It seems as though the company is never wrong as long as they work there. Just let something happen to their immediate family involving that place of employment and watch how fast the course changes. I see much of this on the news where a lawsuit with an HMO usually involved a death.
You can always spot these culprits when there's either "no comment" or they won't face the news media but have the guts to say, "I'm sorry but we did nothing illegal." These same individuals, once they are either fired or for some reason leave that organization for other employment, will turn around and tell you what a bunch of hypocrites work there and blow the whistle as to how the company really is. I feel sorry for those who love and need their job so badly that they can honestly sleep with themselves at night without having nightmares because of some injustice they could have changed.
