Henderson-based Paragon Asset Management Co. was awarded a contract to serve as money manager for the Clark County Association of School Administrators.
Paragon will manage a $1.5 million portfolio for the 800-member association. Approximately 75 percent of the funds are in the association's health insurance fund, with the balance in the general association fund.
Paragon principal Bob Kasner said the fund's recent growth prompted association officials to seek outside professional money management.
