Elmer 'Andy' Andrews
Elmer "Andy" Andrews, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 8, 1921, in Visalia, Calif. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired Navy chief radarman and Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Dianna Furedy of Springfield, Mo., and Sally Barnes of Minden; one son, Steve Andrews of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Dorothy H. Bisson
Dorothy H. Bisson, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 4, 1908, in Uxbridge, Mass. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Bisson of Las Vegas; one son, Brian Bisson of Crystal River, Fla.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
John Grover Breen Jr.
John Grover Breen Jr., 33, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 9, 1967, in San Gabriel, Calif. A resident for five years, he was an instructor of alcohol education.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Mull-Breen; one son, Steven Anthony Breen of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Natasha Starkey of Upland, Calif., Alexis Merriman of San Dimas, Calif., and Veronica Brown of Lancaster, Calif.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the LDS chapel at Tropicana and Burnham avenues. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Jack A. Brown
Jack A. Brown, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Iowa. A resident for 20 years, he was a maintenance worker.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; one daughter, Kathy Bush of Ohio; and one brother, Jack Brown Jr. of California.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is arranging private services.
Allan M. Bruce
Allan M. Bruce, 71, of Kanab, Utah, died Monday in Kanab. He was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Oakland, Calif. A former Las Vegas resident for 27 years until 1987, he was an employee of Associated General Contractors of America.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; two daughters, Melinda Bruce and Mellisa Wilson, both of Kanab; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be noon Saturday in Mosdell Mortuary chapel, 676 S. Highway, Kanab.

Shirley A. Fallon
Shirley A. Fallon, 64, of Sandy Valley died May 4 in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1935, in South Dakota. A resident for 24 years, she retired as a dispatcher from the North Las Vegas Police Department after 10 years.
She is survived by one brother, Wendell Holcomb of Colton, Calif.

Ann Gardner
Ann Gardner, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 26, 1932, in Fayetteville, N.C. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker and a former Cub Scout leader.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Howard and Pamela Enriquez; two sons, Keith Gardner and Charles Gardner; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is arranging a private memorial service.
Andrew W. Halverson
Andrew W. Halverson, 79, of Henderson died Sunday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 17, 1920, in Huron, S.D. A resident for two years, he was a retired university biochemist.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Andrea Halverson of Minneapolis; two sons, Jason Halverson of Henderson and Randall Halverson of Indianapolis; one brother, Gordon Halverson of Alamogordo, N.M.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Jeffery LaRock
Jeffery LaRock, 33, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 23, 1966, in New York. A resident for many years, he was a machinist for a printing company.
He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Dagensis of Canada.

Harriet Toni Millman
Harriet Toni Millman, 42, of Las Vegas died May 9 in a health care center. A self-employed hairdresser, she was born May 8, 1958, in Pennsylvania.
Graveside services will 11 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Charles 'Tom' O'Bryan
Charles "Tom" O'Bryan, 61, of North Las Vegas died Monday. He was born June 24, 1938, in Evansville, Ind. A resident for 1 1/2 years, he was a manager for an automobile firm.
He is survived by his wife, Lily; three sons, Michael O'Bryan of Van Nuys, Calif., Raymond O'Bryan of Los Osos, Calif., and John O'Bryan of Eagle, Idaho; one brother, Leonard O'Bryan of Illinois; two sisters, Patricia Tolbert and Elizabeth O'Bryan, both of Ohio; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Hy 'Porter' Portuges
Hy 'Porter' Portuges, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 16, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired casino host who worked at the Flamingo Hilton and Las Vegas Hilton.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalyn; and two sisters, Mary Leight and Dorothy Portugais, both of Chicago.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Marie C. Prendergast, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Stow, Ohio. She was born Sept. 20, 1915, in Cleveland. A resident for one month, she was an interior decorator and a lifetime member of the National Society of Interior Decorators.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Roberts of Glenwillow, Ohio, and Edward Roberts of Cleveland; two daughters, Penny Stowe of Las Vegas and Keli Roose of Stow; one sister, Lucille McMillan of Olmsted Township, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. today in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St. Burial will be in Cleveland.
Lois M. Rader
Lois M. Rader, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 17, 1932, in Hopewell, Va. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Niles; two daughters, Pamela Pape of Southbury, Conn., and Diane Aaby of Las Vegas; one son, Niles W. Rader Jr. of Las Vegas; one sister, June Cook of Boulder City; three brothers, David Walton and Wayne Walton, both of Hopewell, and Bernard Walton of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Beverly L. Raduziner, 83, of Henderson died Monday in a Nevada hospital. She was born June 15, 1916, in Springfield, Ohio. A resident for 49 years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by one daughter, Anne Curtis of Elko; one son, William Raduziner of Henderson; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

William Roach
William Roach, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 10, 1916, in Washington, D.C. A resident for eight years, he was an engineer for Westinghouse Electric.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; four daughters, Ann Marie Allsopp of Pennsylvania, Mary Jennings of California and Pauline Marker and Frances Hurley, both of Idaho; four sons, William Jr. and Patrick, both of Texas, and Andrew and Michael, both of Idaho; 34 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 Cathedral Way. Visitation was scheduled until 3 p.m. today with a 2 p.m. rosary in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Ann Rowe, 85, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. She was born July 1, 1914, in Pennsylvania. A resident for many years, she was a hairdresser.
She is survived by one daughter, Patti Harding of Henderson.

Joseph J. Schwartz
Joseph J. Schwartz, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 4, 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 45 years, he was a retail buyer and a member of the Retail Clerks Union.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris J.; one daughter, Susan Alward of Las Vegas; one son, Steven Schwartz of Syracuse, Utah; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.

Wayne Thompson
Wayne Thompson, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 28, 1929. A resident for nine months, he was a self-employed salesman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly.

Krist Jefferson Trujillo
Krist Jefferson Trujillo, 1, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 17, 1999, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his mother, Mario Luis Acosta, his mother, Karen Michelle Trujillo, and his grandmother, Blanco Trujillo, all of Las Vegas.
Servces were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Joseph Zappia Jr.
Joseph Zappia Jr., 34, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born July 22, 1965, in Montebello, Calif. A resident for seven years, he was a heavy equipment forklift mechanic.
He is survived by his parents, Olivia and Joseph Zappia, and one sister, Vicki Halloran, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
