The Las Vegas woman accused of manslaughter in the deaths of six teens who were picking up trash alongside Interstate 15 will be arraigned in July on an additional drug charge.
Jessica Williams faces multiple charges in connection with the March 19 crash, including six counts of involuntary manslaughter.
The 21-year-old woman had been scheduled to be arraigned Monday on an additional charge of using the drug Ecstasy prior to the fatal accident, but court records of the grand jury indictment have yet to be made available.
District Judge Mark Gibbons said Williams cannot enter a plea to the new drug charge until she has read the transcripts of the grand jury indictment. He scheduled a new arraignment date on July 10.
Williams also faces six counts of driving under the influence of a controlled or prohibited substance, six counts of reckless driving and one count each of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
The grand jury added the allegation related to her alleged use of Ecstasy after the first indictment was issued.
The teens -- Scott Garner Jr., Alberto Puig, Anthony Smith, Rebeccah Glicken, Malina Stolzfus and Jennifer Booth -- died after a van went off the highway into the median and struck the group as they picked up trash.
Williams is being held on $5 million bail.
