Two victims of a Las Vegas Christmas party shooting filed suit in District Court against businesses that sponsored the event.
Named in the suit were Caribbean Cabana, its owner, the Kostelecky Investment Group, FM-88.1 KCEP and the Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County.
The suit said two men, Clark County residents Leroy Davis and Keith Bowen, were injured when they were hit by random gunfire at a Saturday night party at the Caribbean Cabana, 3190 W. Sahara Ave., on Dec. 25.
The suit says Davis was shot in the groin and Bowen was shot in the hand.
The victims are seeking damages to pay for medical treatment and accused the businesses of negligence for promoting the party after the restaurant was full. The suit also says the businesses did not provide adequate security at the event.
The defendants either declined comment or couldn't be reached.
