Megabucks hits again

Elio D. Leon, 64, of East Los Angeles landed the Megabucks MegaJackpot on Friday night at the Lake Tahoe Horizon Casino Resort after playing $9.

Leon, who owns a T-shirt and embroidery company, said he and his wife of 42 years had planned to take a vacation to the Caribbean even before coming to Lake Tahoe.

"It was going to be a special vacation, but I wasn't sure how I was going to pay for it," he said. "But I guess that's not going to be a problem now."

MegaJackpots links machines in casinos across Nevada. All MagaJackpots are paid in annual installments.
