Green Valley and Durango will play for the first 4A State Boys Volleyball Championship tonight, with the Gators and Trailblazers picking up three-game victories in Tuesday's semifinal matches.
Sunrise Region champion Green Valley got 18 kills from Mason Vonnahme and 43 assists from Charles Kallick in a 15-11, 15-5, 15-2 win over Cheyenne. Durango, the Sunset Region champion, got to the final with a 15-13, 15-12, 15-9 victory over Basic. David Doxey had 36 assists in the match, while Graham Vilkin added 10 kills and 10 digs.
