County will not vote on hospital in November
Wednesday, May 17, 2000 | 11:02 a.m.
The Clark County Commission has scrapped plans to put an $80 million children's hospital on the November ballot.
The decision comes after spirited debate from the medical community, and questions about physician staffing costs and effects on a competing children's hospital.
Commissioners decided instead to appoint a task force to pursue their own study of the project. It could still appear on the June 2001 ballot.
