British cars will be on display
The British Auto Club Inc. will hold its annual car meet 8-11 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Palace Station.
British cars of all types -- sports cars, sedans and performance cars -- are featured. Admission is free and visitors may roam the area to view the cars and cast votes for favorite models.

Biologist to talk at state museum
The Tortoise Group will host "Mojave Desert Reptiles-Up Close and Personal," the topic of a talk by Alex Heindl, biologist and geologist at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Nevada State Museum in Lorenzi Park.
Learn about the facts and superstitions and find out something new about local snakes and lizards. For more information, call 739-8043.
Public invited to open house
The community is invited to an open house Monday in honor of Superintendent Brian Cram, who is retiring from the Clark County School District in July after 35 years with the district, including 11 years as superintendent.
The reception will be held 3-7 p.m. with a special program at 6:15 p.m. at Desert Pines High School, 3800 Harris Ave. For more information, call 799-5304.
