Memorial service set for Evans

A memorial service for Assemblywoman Jan Evans, D-Sparks, will be held 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert Mitchell Elementary School, at 12th Street and Prater Way in Sparks.

Parking will be available in the parking lot of the LDS Church next to the school.

The family said donations can be made in Evans' memory to the University of Nevada School of Medicine Library Book Fund at the Student Library at University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, Savitt Building, Mail Stop 356, Reno 89557.
