Mesa Ridge Towne Center LLC negotiated a $5 million loan from Del Mar Mortgage to purchase property and develop a shopping center at the southwest corner of Russell Road and Nellis Boulevard.
Mesa Ridge spokesman Tom Chavez said construction is expected to begin within the next few weeks. Upon completion, the center will offer about 130,000 square feet of commercial space.
Chavez said no anchor tenants have been signed, but negotiations are ongoing with "a major restaurant."
