Drag, dirt racers take center stage at LVMS

Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosted Round 1 of the Summit Racing E.T. Bracket Racing Series Saturday night, featuring the Fletcher Jones Quick 16 at The Strip along with IMCA racing on the half-mile dirt oval.
In E.T. bracket racing pro competition, Jeff Bansbach won for the second week in a row by defeating Brandon Potts in the final round with an E.T. of 10.385 at 129.67 mph.
In Fletcher Jones Quick 16 eliminations, Randolph Scott won the final round after Jerry Buesig Jr. fouled. Others winners at The Strip were John Irving in street eliminations, Jerry Taylor in motorcycle eliminations and Michael Jackson in sportsman.
