StumblePapez receives UNR’s highest honor

Michael Papez, 22, of Ely, was awarded the Herz Gold Medal during Saturday's graduation exercises at UNR.
Papez, whose older brother, Matt, shared the award in 1996, maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
A record 2,295 students belonged to UNR's graduating class for the 1999-2000 year.
The 110th spring commencement took place on the University Quadrangle.
