1st Race -- Bafferta - Atkinson aboard Allred runner for trainer Collins, prompt start needed from outside post at dash distance, quarterhorse connections. Magic Madam - Nakatani on Proctor trainee, owner Proctor as well, must break sharp from rail post. Value Play -- Wire And Ice

2nd Race -- Kristopher Kross - Pedroza rides Carava trainee, competitive at this level, good spot for action. Cabo King - Draws middle post, Berrio/ Avila team, jockey-trainer combination productive pair. Value Play -- Torre Dei Nolfi

3rd Race -- Southernly Wind - Training at Santa Anita, draws good post for the route run, Nakatani aboard Thoroughbred Corporation charge for trainer Hassinger. Indy's Special - Well-placed here, good post, Garcia scales Peterson trainee, another productive team. Value Play -- Harmony Bear

4th Race -- Decorated Ruler - Pincay up on Lockwood horse, draws good middle post in full field, adds blinkers for this. Murdock - Ramsammy takes Mitchell trainee here, draws extreme outside post, should be able to stalk from there. Value Play -- Big Dane

5th Race -- P.T. Indy - Draws good post for the turf route, Pincay aboard Mandella trainee, fits well, sitting on a win. Dunhill - Argentine-bred runner draws two stalls inside top pick, McCarron rides this Mandella runner, trainer holds uncoupled aces. Value Play -- Company Approval

6th Race -- Devine Beauty - Training at Santa Anita, Flores takes this one of two Baffert-trained runners here, good post. Svea Dahl - The 'other' Baffert trainee, Nakatani scales this one, good outside post to stalk from. Value Play -- Foreign Affairs

7th Race -- Ex Marks The Cop - Training at Anita, Flores on Baffert-trained speedster, draws good rail post for turf dash. Ora Pro Nobis - Argentine bred runner draws good post, McCarron on McAnally trainee, should ge good trip. Value Play -- Islander

8th Race -- Puerto Madero - Makes first start since Dubai, training well, draws good post, Pincay again on Mandella horse. Dancing Afleet - Always in the thick of things, should make the running in this, McCarron now, a threat to steal off. Value Play -- Out of Mind

9th Race -- Nicole Penrod - Nakatani aboard Paulson runner for trainer Bray, draws good post, respect connections. El Sueno - McCarron on Gallagher trainee, draws just inside top pick, should get a good trip in this. Value Play -- Gracious Plenty
